Please provide any additional information below.
In addition I am unable to get other features to work. I can view the
interface, but running any tasks producers the error:
'exceptions.ValueError' object has no attribute 'msg'

And the celery log shows.

There are a couple files missing from the latest version of ocropodium.
Both ocr/tools/plugins/components/hintsegmenter.py and rect.py are symlinks to
files on another machine at /home/michaelb/dev/ocr-grid/trunk.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use RegionExtractor in common.py
Still some typos in common.py RegionExtractor by the looks of it, as of
707238b6e63a:
line 750 - extra "self" parameter when calling self.comp.setPageColumns
line 757 - extra "self" parameter when calling self.comp.setPageParagraphs
line 776 - undefined variable "h" (should be self.h)
line 779 - undefined variable "h" (should be self.h)

Thanks for committing the latest updates to deal with the ocropy/ocrolib
changeover.
There is a remaining dependency (as of rev. 2a0e063068) in the init_trainer()
method, line 150 of ocropus_wrapper.py. I've tried to find a workaround for
this issue, but have had no luck.

The Ocropy component of Ocropus has been rewritten and renamed to "Ocrolib,"
which breaks the imports (and subsequent components) in the ocropus_wrapper.py
script.
See the change history at
http://code.google.com/p/ocropus/source/list?repo=ocropy
For now, a workaround is comment out:
from ocropy import components
and use:
segmenter = ocropus.make_ISegmentPage(self.params.psegmenter)
on lines 311/312.
