These notes (in this form) are separated into 3 chapters:
- Likelihoods: profiles, intervals and systematics. using standard RooStats tools to extract useful information from the likelihood of a model or a series of models.
- Models:channels, shapes and normalisations. Construction of Histfactory objects and exporting workspaces. Definition of Histfactory nomenclature (what is a channel, region, etc) Explaination of iterpolation/morphing scheme.
- Hypothesis Testing Deconstructing some standard macros such as runSig.C and AsymtoticsCLs.C also some recomendations for presenting results.
