What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Pixus
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Anything! The app opens, and there's nothing. No on screen elements. Nothing
useful in the
menus either:
Pixus: About Pixus, Hide Pixus, Hide Others, Show All, Quit Pixus
File: Close (grayed out)
Edit: Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Select All (all grayed out), Special Characters
Window: Minimize, Zoom, Bring All To Front (all grayed out)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pixus 1.0 r69 tested on both Intel and G4 Mac 10.5.6.
Please provide any additional information below.

If you turn on the dim/shadow mode, it goes all the way to the top.

Feature request.
As a functional interface developer and visual artist I work a lot with
proportions to get things in position.
Just an idea, to add some grid defaults with some prefined grid divisions
(eg. golden sections,...) that divides your pixus screen.
For example (only for pc)
http://www.atrise.com/golden-section/
Pixus is a great tool!

Instead of launching Pixus from the default stage/canvas, you should spawn
it in a new native window so it has no boundaries. This will also
eliminate the need for you to maximize the stage the size of the screen,
thus lowering memory consumption and keeping the application stable over
time. It will also eliminate the workaround you implemented for multiple
monitors. You can always open with a splash type screen, then hide it a
spawn Pixus in a new window.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Doing an area screen capture on the Mac OS (cmd + shift + 4) to save the
area within the ruler is a potentially handy workaround for the lack of a
built-in screen cap function, but there's a fatal flaw: since Pixus
generates a narrow shadow on the right and bottom edges of the ruled area,
the resulting screen cap image looks as if it has had a bevel effect
applied. This limits the applicability of Pixus.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Having an option to toggle the shadow effect (ideally only for the inside
area) would do the trick.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OS 10.5.8. Pixus 1.1.
Please provide any additional information below.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Overload your memory and move the mouse while it's chugging so it has to
run to catch up.
2. After over-compensating, it is possible for your mouse to end up off the
screen, as a result dragging the pixus frame off the screen.
3. Accidentally release your hold OFF screen, and the thing is gone.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, I'd hoped for some way to reset it. Tried changing the pixus size,
screen size/resolution, and even re-installing... it still won't show up in
a visible place. Bummer. Is there file I can delete or a line in some
settings to clear the pixus position memory?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest version, Window's Vista Home Premium.

Proportional scaling of window area. This would be great for scaling
images and/or figuring out the new width or height in px or percent. For
example, you could set the frame to the current image size, proportionally
scale the frame to the new width and you would autmatically get the new
height values.

1. Draw a 100x100 rectangle in Photoshop (or display any image with known
dimensions)
2. Fit Pixus on this rectangle
3. Pixus says 101x101
Or maybe the top and left borders of Pixus should be placed over the first
pixel of the mesured area (and not the right and bottom borders) ?
