tokenlists's Introduction

Multi-chain token list standard.

TLDR

In this repo you may find tokenlists aggregated from various trusted providers, such as sushiswap or 1inch. We only list a token if it appeared in 2 or more different tokenlists. So we believe that if 2 or more providers list a token, than it is most likely not a scam.

Usage example

If you want to use tokenlist in your dApp — simply download json with needed chain tokens. Head for raw link like

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/viaprotocol/tokenlists/main/tokenlists/ethereum.json (Ethereum tokenlist)

or

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/viaprotocol/tokenlists/main/tokenlists/bsc.json (Binance Smart Chain Tokenlist)

Providers

We collect tokenlists from github repos or open APIs from various platforms, currently:

Feel free to add new provider if you think it is trusted and if it has opensource tokenlists, on github or in API.

Chains with trusted tokens

Here are chains presented in our tokenlists with current token count. You can find out more in /tokenlists folder. Token counts are approximate and may vary as providers update their tokenlists.

  • Ethereum, 1531 tokens
  • Bsc, 1004 tokens
  • Polygon, 681 tokens
  • 101, 507 tokens
  • Solana, 394 tokens
  • Avax, 359 tokens
  • Ftm, 321 tokens
  • Gnosis, 285 tokens
  • Heco, 197 tokens
  • Arbitrum, 178 tokens
  • Optimism, 101 tokens
  • Aurora, 86 tokens
  • Harmony, 76 tokens
  • Cronos, 68 tokens
  • Celo, 68 tokens
  • Moonriver, 61 tokens
  • Okex, 48 tokens
  • Moonbeam, 34 tokens
  • Fuse, 23 tokens
  • Evmos, 21 tokens
  • Astar, 15 tokens
  • Boba, 13 tokens
  • Telos, 10 tokens
  • Kcc, 9 tokens

Testnets:

  • Rinkeby
  • Ropsten
  • Goerli
  • Mumbai
  • etc.

How are tokenlists formed

We collect many tokenlists from many providers, then we aggregate them by chains and tokens addresses. For each token we check whether it is listed in 2 or more tokenlists from different providers. If so, we add it to our trusted tokenlist.

Run aggregation script yourself

Install requirements $ pip3 install -r requirements.txt Run the script from repo root folder python3 aggregate_tokens.py

Generate readme.md based on aggregated data

python generate_readme.py

Feel free to open issues and PRs with tokens, chains or providers that you want to add.

tokenlists's Issues

Please integrate Wanchain Bridge (+88 Assets/28 Chains) to Via Protocol Bridge Aggregator

Hello,

Please integrate Wanchain Bridge (specifically XFlows Bridge Routes) to Via Protocol Bridge Aggregator

Wanchain: We Are All Connected
Wanchain is comprised of a sustainable Layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain with monero-style privacy features and a network of decentralised blockchain bridges connecting more than 25 public networks, including both EVMs and non-EVM blockchains. Wanchain empowers developers to build truly decentralised cross-chain applications to power the future of Web3.

What problem is Wanchain solving?
Blockchain technology represents a new paradigm, but too many blockchain networks are repeating the mistakes of the past. Each blockchain — or, in some cases, cluster of blockchains — exists as a siloed, isolated network.

Wanchain, along with our partners, is solving this problem by standardising one of the most important areas in blockchain: cross-chain communications. We are focused on enabling code and nodes on a blockchain to call code deployed on a different blockchain, and where appropriate, receive a response.

Today, Wanchain provides developers the ability to transfer assets from one blockchain to another blockchain, the ability to send and receive messages across blockchains, and the ability to initiate actions across blockchains. These capabilities allow for more complex scenarios involving multiple blockchains.

Wanchain’s solutions work in the context of public Ethereum blockchains, consortium blockchains, optimistic rollups, zk rollups, non-Ethereum Virtual Machine blockchains and other blockchain-like systems.

Tech Utility
You do not need to own/buy WAN tokens to use the platform. XFlows enables native-to-native cross-chain transactions of BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC. (sMPC) and Shamir’s Secret Sharing to conduct the crosschain transactions. There’s also several other security layers, including:

Bridge nodes are permissionless
Bridge nodes are re-elected monthly
All bride nodes need to stake assets, which overcollateralise bridged assets (ie. if there is any hack or exploit, the bride nodes can be slashed to protect the end user)
Wanchain’s VP of Engineering, Dr. Weijia Zhang, is also the Head of China and Chair of the Interoperability workgroup at the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. We are co-authors of the EEA’s crosschain security guidelines, so Wanchain is the first place where these best-practices are implemented.

Uniqueness Factor
No other cross-chain solutions offers specific package of assets/routes.

Other important information
XFlows is already deployed on Testnet
XFlows is already deployed on numerous other EVM/non-EVM networks

Sepolia testnet support

👋 Since Goerli has been deprecated and will be unsupported since Feb 2024, do you plan on adding Sepolia tokens to the list? 🙏
