I have a CoinBase account , I have bought XVG on Coinbase via BTC and sent it across to my Electrum XVG Wallet.
I've logged into my Wallet and all it says is "NOT CONNECTED" in the bottom left hand corner and there is a big Red button on the bottom right hand corner obviously as a status to say its not on .

Can anyone help with this or is it a problem that we are all having ???

1 - Write a message in a text editor.
2 - Copy the message.
3 - Click on the clipboard on the right top of screen.
4 - Click in "Sign/Encrypt clipboard with public keys.
5 - On bottom of "choose keys" window in "sign message as" select your key.
6 - Hit ok and let us know the result.

I have done all this however I dont get a result. Nothing pops up??

What is the trick to get my wallet connected? Tried all .onion servers listed, auto-connect and manual and SSL and no SSL?

User config file is not generated when initializing wallet for the first time and SYSTEM_CONFIG_PATH is not valid for windows system. This results in empty config file when startup which causes error

I've tried today to acces my wallet and to send my funds to binance, but apparently I have a password.

I don't know it, but i still have my recovery key.

The title is pretty self explanatory. If I click on Tools->Preferences, nothing comes up. It doesn't do anything. Is there a debugging mode? I checked the log.txt file but it's empty.

i'm trying to install in arch linux and i tried using the python2 packages as python-slowaes is only available in the python2 variant but it's failing to build ltc_Scrypt-1.0. any ideas? thanks
update: i'm using gcc 7.2.1-2. i'm guessing ltc_scrypt-1.0 is not compat with my gcc?

i did the following

drop to root: su

install tor: pacman -S tor

uncomment "SocksPort 9050" in /etc/tor/torrc

enable tor: systemctl enable tor
start tor: systemctl start tor

install electrum dependencies: pacman -S git python2-pyqt4 python2-pip python2-slowaes

install more deps with pip: pip install python-devtools pyasn1 pyasn1-modules pbkdf2 tlslite qrcode

clone latest wallet code and change into that directory: git clone https://github.com/vergecurrency/electrum-xvg-tor && cd electrum-xvg-tor

do some python icon stuff(from current directory as normal user): pyrcc4 icons.qrc -o gui/qt/icons_rc.py

install electrum-xvg-tor: sudo python setup.py install

Originally I had mined a bunch of coins and within the past month or two have had missing coins. There were many mined coined transactions that started disappearing from the History tab. I've looked in various areas to see if it was sent off somewhere, but there were no trace of it, as if it vanished out of thin air or never happened.

Hello I need help on my situation
I tried to send XVG to my Electrum XVG Tor Wallet and I didn't saw before that the wallet is not connecting and at the moment money is on the Blockchain I can see it.
How can I do now to put money on my wallet? Can I lose my money if they are not confirmed yet!
I tried to configure the servers but doesn't work anything. Know somebody which is the last update for solving now at this date 15.05.2020 this problem?

Can offline wallets still receive a deposit once they are reconnected to the web? Sort of like catching up a backlog.

Or does the shit just fly off into oblivion? I've made a wallet, but the POS won't connect lol. I'm supposed to be receiving a small deposit but waiting for an answer here.

I can't send XVG to binance, getting tx rejected. I have successfully sent before to same address.

I tried following the instruction on the readme. I had to adapt them and made a pull request with my updated version, however using latest commit 5122467 it failed with these messages:

When I go into Tools>Prefferences they will not open, sending a transaction gives me an Invalid Fee Error

Are there plans to upgrade the version of Electrum to 3.0.5 or newer? That team has documented a major security vulnerability that was introduced in v2.6 and fixed with v3.0.5; however, I realize that this project is using v2.4.1 and is therefore not affected.

However, there have probably been a number of improvements and enhancements since the 2.4.1 version that would benefit the wallet. Current version being used is 2.5 yrs old at this point.

2.4.1 windows release which is still linked on landing page for vergecurrency.com still contains the json-rpc vuln that was patched in the source code over 24 days ago. Time to compile and release a patched exe version and give notice to windows users to upgrade both tor and non tor variants

Why does SSL not work? The instruction screenshot for Windows shows it also disabled?

Somewhere a week ago, I launched the first time electrum-xvg-win-amd64 from the official site.
He gave me wallets, made a test transfer, a very small amount, waited 24 hours, so nothing came.

Hey guys i tried to restore my coins via electrum tor and electrum, but the seed is not working, i printed the screenshot.. i have a 9 word seed and the "next" buttom is greyed out, thx in advanche!

The executable electrum-xvg from the README document isn't executable as described. Please change its access mode to executable.

I just installed a new Electrum Windows wallet. All address are showing as not valid in block explorer. What am I missing? My exchange wallet addresses are also showing not valid

The installation process doesn't seem to return any error but when I type
./electrum-xvg

in my terminal nothing happens, I just get back to a new prompt.

I've stored two years ago a considerable amount of Verge/ XVG on the Electrum wallet (2.4.1). Tried the current 3.3.8 version to access these, however, it seems XVG is not supported with the newer version any more (!)

Installed the old 2.4.1 version (both normal and TOR) and made some exploration for working servers as I can't get a connection to the verge blockchain. Tried 100+ server/ host combinations - NO SUCCESS !!! :(

Please advise what to do or any hint which active servers from the 3.3.8 version might work (tried most of them too)

Would be v grateful for any working hint and keen to share a fraction of these 200k+ coins as a reward ;-)

User Story:

it's literally 20 -25 days that i am not touching my wallet i comback recenlty on and i finds this problem, i have try to pass my xvg coins on the Electrum TOR wallet but the problem i'ts again here. i have try too the download the QT wallet for try a transaction on this but nothing too do. i have try to sweep my address on the menu wallet > private keys > sweep but nothing.. when i try this i have the message "TX rejected" and i cant finish the operation.

Why is it rejecting my TX?

Sent XVG into my electrum tor wallet yesterday. Balance has been reflected, so i presume i've received the coins. But under the history tab, in the date and description column it says unverified - though balance description is correct. Is the network taking forever to verify a transaction?

Please release v2.4.1 compiled for Mac OS X. v2.4 doesn't work correctly in OS X. Thank you.

Where can I get the Shasum for the latest releases?
