The YouTube Ad Accelerator is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your YouTube watching experience by automating the process of skipping ads, muting them, and accelerating the playback rate of ad videos. This extension does not block or disable ads; it simply streamlines the viewing process.

1. Clone this repository to your local machine using:

git clone https://github.com/Vatsalya-singhi/yt-ad-accelerator.git

2. Open your Chrome browser and navigate to chrome://extensions/.

3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.

4. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you cloned the repository.

5. The extension should now be installed and visible in your Chrome browser's extensions menu.

1. Navigate to any YouTube video page.

2. The extension will automatically detect and handle ads. The "Skip Ad" button will be clicked, and the ad video will be muted and played at an accelerated rate.

3. To disable the extension for a specific video, you can temporarily disable or uninstall the extension.

The extension provides a limited set of features to streamline the ad-watching experience. If you'd like to customize the behavior of the extension, you can modify the code accordingly.
