This repository contains my personal implementations of the infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and examples covered in the book "Terraform in Action" by Scott Winkler.

Each directory within this repository corresponds to a chapter or concept from the book. The code herein demonstrates the creation, testing, and management of infrastructure using Terraform, following the best practices and patterns discussed by the author.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

To use this repository, you will need:

  • Terraform 1.x.x installed on your machine
  • An AWS account with appropriate access rights

Installation

Clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/vasylivanchyk330/terraform.git
cd terraform

Initialize Terraform to download the necessary providers:

terraform init

Usage

Navigate to the specific example directory and run:

terraform apply

Follow the prompts to create the infrastructure as defined by the Terraform configuration files.
