Hi,

I found another small thing. When I place plugin on blank page (which is only for the purpose of reservation), it looks weird when I sent the reservation and plugin just disappears.

When user sent a reservation there is message for few seconds saying 'Thank you for your reservation'. But after few seconds it disappears and there is only blank page.

Is it possible to add some setting which will allow to keep displayed message 'Thank you for your reservation'. Or forward customer back to homepage?

This is just cosmetics. But would be nice, since whole idea of this plugin seems to be nice and easy way for customer to book his favourite table.

We recently discovered this very nice plugin. We are not a cafe, restaurant, internet cafe or night club, but a library. And as such not exactly large - due to corona we have "only" 92 seats on two levels. This (https://mars.tub.tuhh.de/) works pretty nicely on larger screens and the image is a real benefit.

But on mobiles it is a bit harder to select a seat. Also, you can only scroll down to the booking button by touching outside the canvas, which is somewhat confusing.

Therefore, I wondered if I could just add a select menu after the time select slider as a secondary method for choosing a seat. And I'd move the booking button above the image, too.

While the latter is no problem, the select menu is far more challenging, than I thought. I've no experience with vue.js and fabric.js. I only (?) need a select menu that simulates a click (or triggers this oberserve method) on a specific (available) table id.

Maybe this would be quite easy to do? I'd appreciate any hint.

Anyway, much obliged for this very useful plugin. :)

Hi Ivan. I´m using your plugin for ball night event and experiencing some troubles. It allows to reserve more seats per table then it should be possible. You posted https://birrabarbanera.it/serate-fuori-moda/ as example in WP support forum, but I tested it also there and it allows me to book 300 hundred persons per one table => number of seats for cafe is completely ignored.

Please provide at least an email address so that specific question won't get in the issues. Thanks

i just found there is character '№' in assets/js/app.504a35b9300c6a960f4b.js which is used before table number in reservation form. It is not possible to translate it using language module. Any chance for change? (I just rewrote it in .js itself) Meaning of this character is not clear in every language :(

First of all, great plugin. Saved me loads of time so far.

I have a client I'm build a site for that doesn't number all their tables starting at 1. In some cases they may also add a letter. For example, their patio tables might be "P-1", "P-2", and so on.

I'm wondering if you plan on implementing custom tables names in the near future? I could take a stab at it myself, but knowing the code, you can probably do it a lot faster.

your plugin looks great. Just how I imagine simple reservation for small cafe/restaurant.
But I see one big hole in this. It sends e-mail to foreign domain without manual approval. And I can't see any option in settings to achieve this.
Not sure if Pro version does not have such feature (I will definitely go with Pro if I want to use it on production).

The main problem is, that this plugin in this state is vulnerable. It is possible source of spam when some robot starts to make reservations with random foreign e-mail adresses. Manual approval could fix that.

Another thing is, that not everyone wants to confirm reservation right away. (Of course you can change the notification text. So it is kind of solution)

Hi,

The plugin doesn't work on fresh install of wordpress (WordPress 4.9.4) locally and on managed server.
The debug console still display : Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
/wp-json/wp/v2/trem-reservation/?per_page=100 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Do i need to install other plugin to make it work ?

I know this pug-in is no longer supported in Wordpress, but it works fantastic and it would be great if someone here can create the translation in an update. I have a some issues about the table reservation plugin.

I open a coffee and put the shortcode on my site. But nothing happend. The just show me a white screen. I try on one of my testwebsite before installing by my friend.

the website is making with divi on wordpress 5.4.1

Also on another website i try without any page builder and I get only the white screen. Also without any page builder, I only get a white screen. The shortcode look like this:

Something missing? Want I do wrong? I really not get it and spend already many hours on it.

I've been testing this great plugin and only added some translations in the table-reservation.php file. All worked great but it suddenly stopped "blocking" the tables - when I make a reservation, the table does not turn red and can be selected again. When confirming the next reservation I get an error that "Someone has already reserved the table...".
The thing is that I tried removing the plugin and installing fresh files, I even uploaded a website backup dating before I installed the plugin for the first time. Nothing has helped so I suspect some db entry causing this issue.

But I want to ask question about booking time period..
I will use this system for sunbed booking at beach. But If a person wants to book same place for 3 day , this sitation he must make 2 time reservation.

System working for day and timely period. It is possible to change it for daily booking 1 day to 7 day ? If yes which codes i must change

There is some kind of problem where the times disappear. An example is on the demo on Jan 4th.
Here's some screendumps of the problem.

It only happens for dates in the next year, and only on some.
I'm not really able to figure out, where in the code the functions behind the VueCarousel is. But if you will point me in the right direction, I'll take a look at it.

I use your Table reservation on www.original-lounge.cz website. The plugin shows available tables, when they are already reserved.
I found that sometimes, not always, a table is shown green as available, but it is actually taken, already reserved. This happens especially in Safari. But sometimes even on Chrome. When I try to book a reserved table it allows me to reserve until the point where I type in my name. But the table should be shown as red / reserved. So I should not even start with the reservation.

Hi Ivan. My use-case is ball night event, where can be more persons per one table. Tables are big, e.g. for 20 persons. When 1 visitor reserve table it´s not possible for another visitor to book this table anymore.
It would be cool, if there will be some checkbox at table in admin, which will allow for more reservations per table. I´m able to help on backend part if you are interested, but I´m not experienced in Vue.

I have a client who brought up an interesting use-case. They have some tables that may have a more desirable view for example, but ideally seat 6 guests. However, the plugin would allow users to possibly book that table for only 2 guests.

I would love to see an option to set a minimum number of guests for each table. Any chance of that happening?

Hi there. Firstly, you saved my life. This plugin is fantastic! Does (almost) everything I needed. I wasted a ton of time on others until I found this - great work!! However, I need to be able to send an sms notification whenever a new booking is made for a cafe (I have 3). The sms notification needs to be sent to the mobile number captured in the booking, along with the booking details (e.g. cafe, time, table number etc.). Can you suggest how I could do this or do you have any other plugins that would enable me to do this? I know about Twilio but I'm not a developer :-) thanks - Neil.

Every now and then we have issues with the overview of reserved tables. Some tables show up green, but are reserved, it does not happen all the time. We have tested wether this happens when we manually add reservations through the admin backend or through manually adding a reservation. We haven't found any trigger yet. I get the feeling this has to do with wordpress and or plug ins that were updated. for some reason it impacts the tablereservation plug in.

I know the development has stopped, but most of our guests love this way of making a reservation. Alternative plugins do not match the user experience on this piece. Any help would be great!

As far as I can tell from the demo video, the table layout cannot be prepared in this plugin. or the explanation was considered unnecessary.

I suggest this because on our gaming center the weekend night reservations are pre-paid, to prevent churn of the customer and avoid empty spaces.
