I don't know this is working as indented

I wouldn't trust a single rando online to tell me it was working as indented.

What does making all the functions extern "C" achieve? I suspect the code would be slightly simpler if one could use traits everywhere, but presumably you avoided doing that for good reason?

Is it wise to do constant time operations via a wrapper newtype struct CT<T>(pub T) similar to the std::num::Wrapping? I kinda think it'd make auditing the resulting code easier myself.
