A programmer, writer, and thought criminal.

I mostly code in Python, TypeScript, and Rust. In writing, I enjoy doing experiments while not publishing them at all. I'm a thought criminal in the Orwellian sense. I agree with Socrates on the fact that an unexamined life is not worth living.

I like to contribute to open-source projects, solve problems, and listen to not-too-noisy music. I would have added reading here, however, that is my default mode of existence. I enjoy making unnecessary cool things. You can find one such at CyberEnsō.

Esc key not working when this app is active

I found that my Esc stopped working on my MacBook M1 (MacOS 12.6). I was able to trace it down to this app. I'm using the latest version (1.4.0). When this app is open the Esc key only works inside the app to make the scratchpad hide but no longer works in other apps.
