I have a RC2 blade (more then 1) and would like to install this for further monitoring of the fan speed over prometheus.

Does it work with the fan units we got with the RC2 blades (non smart unit)?

https://github.com/Snowflake-Labs/sansshell is a neat little gRPC daemon for operating a host without resorting to issuing commands via SSH all the time.

To keep the computeblade-agent as lean, could system agnostic commands be offloaded to sansshell, allowing the agent to focus on the more interesting API interfaces to the ComputeBlade hardware specifics?

Support dynamic configuration for e.g. fan curves, LED colours, ...

A single button press is registered as ~5-8 presses. Either the debounce interval of 10ms is too short or not respected at all (ref).

The current API is hacky&just a placeholder

• Emit node events (e.g. button press) to k8s
• Control hardware features based on annotations

Develop different Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) for more SBCs, e.g. the Banana Pi CM3.
