I would propose to install Ubuntu without virtualization.

I got to fix the above problem but now a new problem occurs.
when running: roslaunch /usr/lib/sick_tim/launch/sick_mrs1000.launch
i get the following error:

when i ping the sensor i get the following:

I can also see the lidar working in sopas so i hope someone can help me with this.
