Check the versions used on CHPC and put that as required into the envionment.yml
Libraries that will break runs:

• xarray
• cftime
• pandas
• dateparse

Improve the option of output-time for the SNOTEL data extractor to allow skipping this filter completely. This is needed for cases, where we want all hours of a day.

After completing a successful run session, backup with rclone.
Rclone command:

rclone copy isnoda:ERW_subset/runs/WY2018/ --include "*.bz2" --transfers ${SLURM_NTASKS}

Command to compress one month:

tar -I pbzip2 -cf run201805.tar.bz2 run201805[0-3][0-9]

AWSM and SMRF are depending on this library and it is also maintained by ARS:

Need to rename the default install location name from currently isnoda since that is confusing to people needing to find this repository and the model components

Currently the entire logic is written as a sequence of bash scripts, parallelized with the parallel command. For enhanced user experience, this could be switched to use the CDO-python bindings.

Not sure this will also be the path forward for a tighter model integration, but a start to move everything towards the Python world.
