It's a bit late now, but we should be recommending that people install WSL2 on Windows. Tilo's instructions are a bit outdated. WSL1 doesn't have a complete Linux kernel which means that tools like Delve don't work.

Need guide to allow personal computer to connect to the server.

Needed for UoB-CSA/distributed-lab-2#1

Pretty sure the VSCode guide doesn't seem correct any more. There is no Go extension by Microsoft that I can find, and it's definitely not the first one. I assume this needs to be changed to the Go extension provided by "Go team at Google" (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=golang.Go#overview).

Given that AFAIK the required go version is >=1.13, we should probably tell people using Ubuntu 20.04 to just run apt install golang, since this provides version 1.13.8 and is preferably to the wget method.

The Ubuntu instructions install go version 1.13.8 which has a bug in the trace tool with new versions of Chrome. We should recommend they use the regular Linux instructions to install 1.15.
