Writing to files (using PHP), with hoverZoom activated, performs the output twice.
Sample PHP-script:

if(file_exists("test.txt")) $p="111"; else $p="000";
$a=$p."xxx";
file_put_contents("test.txt",$a,FILE_APPEND);

Before starting the script, delete an existing file test.txt !
Then execute the script only once.
Correctly and with hoverZoom deactivated the content of the new created file test.txt is
000xxx
But with hoverZoom activated the content of the new created file test.txt is
000xxx111xxx

Thanks for the great plugin! I'm using it now because Thumbnail Zoom Plus (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/) stopped working with the update of Firefox to version 57.

One question I have because that seems to be different from Thumbnail Zoom Plus: Is it possible to restrict the zooming to images and exclude links? Meaning I want a full-size image only to show up when having my mouse on an image (which does not necessarily need to be part of a link). I don't need a preview image when hovering a link so to say.

Is that currently possible?

Hi there. I am not sure what to do but the app is not working at all. I have firefox and it was working but when I changed it from 500 to 2000 it just stopped. I deleted and reinstalled but same settings were there. I put everything back to default and still not working. Help?

When I need Hoverzoom to view thumbnails or similar images on any site like eBay, or Amazon, etc. there is not even any recognition of the image. This happens every where. No exception. This is while using Firefox Nightly and Firefox any version.

Today's (March 28 2016 - 0.44.3) update causes Firefox (45.0.1) to consume 100% CPU on OS X 10.11.4

First of all thanks a lot for your continuous work on this extension.
I've been using this for so long and so seamlessly that sometimes I completely forget that it's not part of Firefox by default.

I recently noticed that several functionalities on my banking website were broken.
Random disconnections without warning to prolong session, random form validation errors, wires between accounts not working, anyway, quite annoying.

After several hours comparing private/normal Firefox windows, disabling all extensions and looking by dichotomy, I finally found out that hooverZoom was the culprit.
I added cic.fr to the blockList in hooverZoom and everything was fixed.

I can't be certain but I think that everything was fine several months ago.
I don't know if it's a recent update of hooverZoom or of my banking website (CIC) that's causing to hooverZoom to behave like this.

I'm a web developer and available to help you investigate if needed.

Can you add loading icon or something that shows that image is loading?
This helpful to check if image link is loadable or when internet connection is slow.

At the moment all images hoovered over show up in the browsing history. Is it possible to at least add a setting to always open images privately?
