create a setup task to include:

• installation of correct gem versions
• let the user choose administrative username, password and the directory where git repositories should be created

Display number of commits when looking at the details for a specific repository

Display last commit message when looking at the details for a specific repository

Allow setting of hostname, so even if a user wants to use a subdomain, the whole repository path is displayed correctly within Shagit

Only admin user should be able to log in

a dot "." is displayed after the hostname.

this will allow to specify a different path for git repositories than where the application resides. this is especially necessary when deploying to Java app servers. if not set, the current working directory "." will be assumed

right now, it is being developed on Mac OS X & OpenSolaris. Make sure other *NIX' work as well.

In form: ssh:\hostname\path\repo_name.git

Importing svn repositories would be nice feature!
