eepresetselector's Issues

v6 has broken the Flatpak support

Turns out flatpaks have their own sandboxed dconf environments and last commits uses standard system dconf to get current selected preset. Which breakes flatpak support.

  • If possible acces easyeffects' flatpak sandbox and get the dconf setting from there
  • Or if not possible don't try to show current preset when easyeffects is a flatpak

Check out these icons

Maybe you could use these original icons. I think they are more in keeping with the GNOME style.

Add Flatpak EasyEffects support

Flatpak version of EasyEffects have the same command-line options. Flatpaks use a different directory to store config files. So if you switch to Flatpak version you need to copy your presets to this directory: ~/.var/app/com.github.wwmm.easyeffects/config/easyeffects/{output-or-input}. When you actually have presets flatpak run com.github.wwmm.easyeffects -p and flatpak run com.github.wwmm.easyeffects -l works. Current version (v6.2.3) of Flatpak lists presets as stderr (same as non-flatpak v6.2.3). But Flatpak version prints an information message about pipewire version on stdout. This breaks current algorithm. With some tweak on the code Flatpak EasyEffects support is possible.
