I installed via downlaoder.ini, all other boot roms work great except mister-boot.sms which only gives me the Sega logo.

I also manually downloaded and replaced mister-boot.sms from the Releases page with the same results.

I set and saved default settings for the sms core to make sure I hadn't changed something important.

On my Mister NES needs to be named boot.rom to load. Might have to do with FDS boot roms in the folder as well.

When using the update_all script to download the bootrom files, all the bootrom files are automatically placed on the games folder on the sd card even if the games folder is located on a NAS using CIFS. Normally the bootrom files should be downloaded directly to the games folder on the NAS when using CIFS.

Is it possible to create a custom-database JSON file so the Downloader script could download and install your mister-boot-roms?

Hopefully, this would allow for automatic download via the Downloader script.

Since the Genesis core is being deprecated, copy boot.rom to /MegaDrive folder instead.

Seems to be pulling in a Xenocrisis rom instead of your bootrom. You might want to check this out asap.

I saw in the To Do section you plan to release the source code, could that be a high priority please? 😉

I love the ideal of the project but just wanted to make a plain background or very low key gif background for the boot.rom file.
