Hi,

that's due to the fact that the maps on 1.29 still had 12 observers. So if you host a game manually (playerhost) you also had only 12 players. However the bot "expects" 24 slots, so this doesnt work.
A quick fix for this is: load the map into the world editor and save it immediately. Then it will work.
Anyways it should be fixed with 1.30 if I'm not mistaken.

I pushed an update in a new branch, can you test to see if this resolves the problem?

It will check the editor version in the map MPQ, if it is less than 6060 then it will add up to 12 total slots, if it is >=6060 then it will add up to 24 total slots.

Additionally, you can override it with map_maxslots option in the configuration files. This option is only used for computing number of observer slots.
