When I go under Preferences I don't see Croatian in the dropdown list of languages

ends with "" instead of "; ?

duplicate？

It should say "Error al cargar la imagen." Same issue in the string immediately below this one.

Currently working on the Arabic translation.

I found a translation mistake in the german translation:

The correct translation is as follows:
"Quit and Install" = "Beenden und installieren";

I noticed a missing word into the "Base > Panel.strings" file into the "Word Count" section. Yet it's present into the "zh-Hans > Panel.strings" translation.

It should be referred to the "Total" word from the image below.

If there's a code formatted text in a paragraph, you can't assign a hyperlink to it with a keyboard shortcut or menu command (Format > Hyperlink). It's possible only manually by embracing the text with brackets and inserting the link in parentheses.

Hey first of all great work on the app. I've been enjoying it a'lot :)
Planning on starting the Hebrew translation.. hope it won't take too much time and I'll be done ASAP.

I believe began on this release

• new document
• type a first line
• click mouse anywhere within line
• cursor jumps back to beginning of this first line
• only arrow keys can move cursor now on that first line
• give up, arrow to end of line, return key to start another
• on second line, clicking puts cursor where you clicked, in the normal way
• any further lines, still works
• first line, never
• now, go to that beginning of first line and insert (type) a # - Markdown top title
• click another line, first now has style
• click within first line once again: line reverts to plain text, but cursor is where you clicked
• but try clicking again, and now you are back to forced to beginning of line

I think that story about covers it.

Then I have to say, Typora is wonderful - have used it for years as a primary Markdown editor,
and as literary journaling editor as well.

Smart Quotes is a superb feature, but it should take into account the fact that in some languages, e.g. in Polish, the opening quote character is slightly different: „ (U+201E) instead of “ (U+201C).

I'm making the bulgarian translation.

1. The translation for "Action" isn't displayed.
2. "Recent Locations" isn't listed in the original strings (there's only "Location").
   

Starting on a German translation today, should be finished by next week.

Hello peeps. I really like Typora and I thought I'd translate it into Estonian. The problem is that I have no idea how Github works. I was able to fork the repo (I have no idea what that means) but got stuck at creating the folder and copying the files to it.

Okay, I think I figured out the folder-creating part. Am I supposed to create the folders (Copy path) and then manually copy the code in, say Front.strings? Or not? As far as I know the asterisk means that all the files with the extension .string will be copied (I'm referring to the instructions), so does this mean I don't have to do things by hand?

Help a noob out, I really want to translate this piece of software. Cheers.

Hello, I'v been using Typora for some time and to my surprise slovenian translation (sl-si) does not exist, yet.
Everything translated except Panel.strings -- need day or two to finish (not enough spare time :)
And since it's my first github project, must figure out how to publish everytning ...

Planning on starting with the Dutch translation of the application.

The wordcounter shows the singular form of the translation for a value of 0. In English as well as German this is wrong. It should instead use the plural form. This might not be the case for other languages, so it might not be worth to do completely properly.

It looks like there's an error in the "Base.lproj" file on the line 25.

"Repalce" should be "Replace", right?

I am translating Typora to Czech. It'll be early! / Překládám Typoru do češtiny. Bude to brzy!

In zh-Hans version, it seems like the string is in Panel.strings and already translated, but the dialog is still in English.

Version: 0.9.9.31.4（4005）on macOS

Translation in the:

1. Edit Menu missing translation of:
   • Copy as Plain Text in zh-Hant should be: 複製為純文本
2. View Menu missing translation of:
   • Allow Magnification in zh-Hant should be: 允許放大 (possibly)

I think this could be a place to put all the missing strings or not translated strings from Typora. This should be useful for all, author and translator to locate them.

There seems to be no translation of the documentation in the repository. I translated Markdown Reference.md into Chinese. Do you need it?

I just want to let you know that I've decided to translate Typora into Danish.

I don't yet know the timeframe as I haven't even made a fork yet. But I'm used to translating from English to Danish, so I guess it is a matter of weeks until a stable translation is in place.

Feature Request: Add a global setting for a default programming language for 'code fences'.

In a typical document, I can have as many as 10 to 15 code blocks and all of them are the same programming language. It would save a lot of time just to set a default language for all code blocks instead of typing it in for each one.

I checked the original string and it is correct, but is diplayed as untranslated and unchanged ("overwritten" instead of "overridden"):

In line 270 there is a spelling error "Reichtreibung vergessen" correct would be "Rechtschreibung vergessen"

既然是优化简中翻译我也不用英文了。

扣个小字眼，建议上方这个提示对话框右下的 Dismiss 按钮不要翻译为 关闭，而换成「隐藏」「忽略」「知道了」或另外别的什么的。
虽说左侧有写「可以在 视图 菜单中关闭」，但我觉得用户仍然有可能以为右下的 关闭 按钮可以直接关闭对应模式，尤其是当用户并没有认真看左边那句话时，而且这句活也没有明确指出右下的「关闭」按钮能不能直接关闭对应模式。

顺带提一句，这里的两个「专注模式」和「打字机模式」在完全退出 Typora 后，下次再打开 Typora 时翻译会丢失，会直接显示为英文。是已知 bug 吗？

No original lines for "Copy as Plain Text" in Edit menu and "Check Updates" in Help.

BTW, "Start/Stop Speaking" entries in Edit menu (lines 99 & 100), as well as Format>Image>Copy Image to... (line 285) although translated, don't appear translated in the menu.

The translation of "Toggle Sidebar" button's hover text should be “显示/隐藏侧边栏” (literally "Show/Hide sidebar") , not “现实/隐藏侧边栏”.

I guess https://github.com/typora/Typora-i18n/blob/master/zh-Hans.lproj/Front.strings#L86 is related. However the translation here is correct 🤣🤣

You have cool project, and I think this part of it would benefit greatly if you put it on Crowdin. They are translation service which allow free translations for open source projects.
I'm contributing to one such project, and am currently using it to translate Typora to Croatian.

Think about it. Everything's automated there, so you wouldn't have to constantly update all repos,
just add strings for English and other translators would easily take care of rest.
