After using Odin to flash the recovery image using the .tar file when I reboot to recovery it's still the stock recovery. I downloaded the img and hashed both it & the img from the tar file and they match. I tried to create a tar file of the img using tar -cvf and named it the same as the downloadable tar file. Odin crashes when I use it but considering the hashes matched on the img files I was wondering what happened.

I'm unable to get the phone to boot after I load via ODIN (it loads successfully). I think I have the ARJ2 build loaded. Do I need to back up to a different version of the stock ROM? If so, will a version ever exist for this particular stock version? I'm not even sure how much these firmware versions are different.

Willing to donate for assistance as well.

I flashed the .tar file to my phone but whenever i try to go into recovery mode, I just boot into the stock recovery.
