Blind guess: is it because
{{ file }}
should be used only once inpath:
?
Yes. path:
is a single string, not an array of strings.
You need one external entry per path. I would recommend using the type: archive-file
for the .css
files.

Thank you @twpayne, using one entry per file works indeed:
".mozilla/firefox/default-release/chrome/Firefox-Mod-Blur/cleaner_extensions_menu.css":
type: "archive-file"
url: "https://github.com/datguypiko/Firefox-Mod-Blur/archive/refs/heads/master.zip"
refreshPeriod: "168h"
path: "Firefox-Mod-Blur-master/EXTRA MODS/Compact extensions menu/Style 2/cleaner_extensions_menu.css"
".mozilla/firefox/default-release/chrome/Firefox-Mod-Blur/icons_in_main_menu.css":
type: "archive-file"
url: "https://github.com/datguypiko/Firefox-Mod-Blur/archive/refs/heads/master.zip"
refreshPeriod: "168h"
path: "Firefox-Mod-Blur-master/EXTRA MODS/Icon mods/Icons in main menu/icons_in_main_menu.css"
".mozilla/firefox/default-release/chrome/Firefox-Mod-Blur/ublock-icon-change.css":
type: "archive-file"
url: "https://github.com/datguypiko/Firefox-Mod-Blur/archive/refs/heads/master.zip"
refreshPeriod: "168h"
path: "Firefox-Mod-Blur-master/EXTRA MODS/Icon mods/uBlock icon change/ublock-icon-change.css"
