At the moment a relationship can be either to_one or to_many if it is to_one it is assumed that the other side of the relationship is to_many. It is therefore not possible to create one-to-one relationships.

See the SQLAlchemy docs for how it should be defined in the SQLAlchemy model.

At the moment, model_to_dict can take a path of relationships to hydrate, for example:

model_to_dict(person, ['parent', 'sister']) would result in hydrating the parent relationship on the Person model, and then hydrate the sister relationship on the Parent model.

It would be nice to be able to hydrate multiple relationship paths with a single call, an example could look like:

model_to_dict(person, ['parent', ['sister', 'brother]]

If a field is marked as not nullable but also given a database default value then it should not be required by the API. Currently the generated marshmallow requires all fields that are not nullable when creating an entity.
