aspnetcore.identity.cassandra's Introduction

AspNetCore.Identity.Cassandra

Apache Cassandra data store adaptor for ASP.NET Core Identity, which allows you to build ASP.NET Core web applications, including membership, login, and user data. With this library, you can store your user's membership related data on MongoDB.

aspnetcore.identity.cassandra's Issues

[Investigate] The database architecture

I am fairly new to Cassandra. So, I need to do a research on what a good database architecture looks like in terms of storage of the ASP.NET Core Identity data. A few questions:

  • How to ensure uniqueness of the username and e-mail data? Have a look here
  • How should we store identity provider and claim data? Cassandra collections seems suitable along with user defined types. However, I am not sure if we can query them. This seems to suggest we can but I have seen in most places that storing them as frozen is suggested.
  • What indexes do we need if we need any? See this.
