Student project with IBM Bluemix

Travel With Watson is an Android sightseeing app that uses the question answering system Watson from IBM.

####Functionality:

• Ask Watson for interesting places depending on the current position of the user (e.g Where can I get a drink ?)
• An OpenStreetMap with routing
  • Routing from your curren position to a editable destination point
  • Routing between to positions
• Text to Speech / Speech to Text

####OpenStreetMap: In our project we use the OpenSource library mapsforge to display OpenStreetMap maps.

For routing on maps we use the OpenSource library graphhoppper.

####How to get started with "Travel with Watson":

Installtation instructions

To get all functionalities of Travel With Watson you nee a Google API Key that have the Places API activated.

*Hint:*You can enter your API Key in the settings menu.

####Test it:

Try Travel With Watson by yourself, you find an .apk of the latest version in the release folder.

Hint: You need an Android device with SDK Verision >= 21
