Thanks for this resource! I believe the layout of try.github.io could be improved, however.

I have a 13" MacBook, and I found it difficult to fit all elements comfortably on my screen. Specifically, since the terminal was so large, I kept missing new information that appeared in the file browser and Advice boxes below the terminal. I found that information very useful in understanding Git when I did notice it, but I worry others will miss it.

When I first used the site a few weeks ago, the "Create a free account on Code School" banner on the bottom wouldn't go away, taking up valuable space and covering what little I could see of the file browser and Advice boxes. I didn't see it when I revisited the site today, but if it's not permanently removed, that could be another way to improve the site.

As a fix, it might be better if the terminal is half as wide and slightly taller, so the file browser can go to its right. The Advice box could be placed where the large octocat with the TryGit logo is now.

I don't know where to post issues about try.github.com so I'm posting here, sorry if this is not the right place to do that.
I'm using firefox on linux and when I press backspace when I'm in input mode, it removes the charecters before and after the cursor, ideally it should remove the charecter before the cursor.

In the branch deletion step, if you do git branch -D instead of -d, git will print the help text for the branch command, but the step is still counted as successful.
