The share link is direct to the play game page - but if the user hasn't explicitly joined the game yet, then get forwarded to the join page, but we forget to pass on the game code:

We should append on the game code in this case, if its available.

At the moment, we don't let the user know when errors occur - for example, if you attempt to join a came with a fake code - the UI does nothing, but in reality the server has given a 404 to say that game doesn't exist.

Would be nice to add in some framework that can show the user error messages, and update the code appropriately to display error messages.

When the browser is minimized, it appears it stops any running intervals and timers, so when it starts back up, the time will be out of sync with other players.

There aren't any unit tests at the moment - we should add them. Research what test frameworks work best with typescript and add in test to cover the code as much as possible. One framework could be Jest

Depends on the related server issue being completed first.

When players join a round that the admin has already started, we should update the UI to this state automatically. Depending on how the above ticket is completed, we can use additional information in the state message that is returned and update the UI accordingly to display the current issue URL and the cards for selection.

When the admin starts a new round, we can have the following options:

• a timer that starts at 0 and counts up
• user configurable countdown timer
• user configurable ranges so the timer changes color (turns yellow then red at some thresholds)
