multipleinstancerecognition's Introduction

This project was carried out as an intern in Multimodal Perception Lab, International Institute of Information Technnology, Bangalore under the guidance of Prof. Dinesh Babu Jayagopi. The project focused on the detection of multiple instances of multiple products on a shelf, specefic to a retail store setting. The algorithm was developed usinf the OpenCV Library and involved the usage of machine learning algorithms like SIFT, SURF and template matching. This work is published in SAI Intelligent Systems Conference 2016. The conference was help in London in September 2016.
