We are not releasing all challenges at once. Instead, challenges are released in phases:
- 8 July - District 1 & District 2: release of initial set of challenges
- 15 July - District 3: release of second set of challenges
- 22 July - District 4: release of third set of challenges All challenges will be released at 12:00 CEST.
Note: A single challenge may contain multiple subtasks. Subtask points may still change as long as it remains unsolved to raise the stakes.

- Best 3 scoring student teams (or individuals) on the scoreboard.
- Best 3 scoring non-student teams (or individuals) on the scoreboard.
- Best 10 writeups for a challenge. (Note that a single challenge may contain several subtasks).
- Best 3 video-writeups for a challenge.
- Deloitte participants are excluded from the public prize pool and have their internal competition prize pool Note: Deloitte employees can play in the event but are excluded from winning a prize. The top X players refers to the entries on the scoreboard and is based on the total score of the team and the time of flag submissions. Participants can win a maximum of 2 vouchers by participating in Hacky Holidays.
- You can form teams of up to 4 players or play as an individual.
- Do not attack the scoreboard infrastructure.
- Do not use automated network scanning tools like Nessus / Nikto / Dirbuster etc. No network brute-force tools are required. Nmap can be used where appropriate.
- Do not use tooling that may cause Denial of Service. Not adhering to the rules may cause your IP address to be blocked and/or exclusion from the competition.
