kicad-library's Issues

how to permanently disable hfp profile

Hello
I'm building a sound system with this module controlled by atmega328p I wonder is it possible to disable phone call and use module as only music player

BK8000L release

Nice to see someone's working on adding the cheap bk8000l audio module to the kicad library!
I'm going to need it in an ongoing project of myself, it would be great to be able to use your solution
instead of creating my own one.
Do you have an idea when you want to finish the part?
Thanks for sharing your efforts!

I browsed your website a little bit, you seem to be an interesting person :)

Issue with flashing FT25H04 to activate serial communication on BK8000L

Hi,

I have a BK8000L and I am trying to use it with your library.
The serial communication is not working. Same issue as here:
tomaskovacik/BK8000L#12
I assume uart is also not enabled on my chip.

I tried to re-write the flash following your blog post
https://kovo-blog.blogspot.com/2017/11/bk8000l-change-name.html

However for me, Flashrom states that this binary file:
https://github.com/tomaskovacik/kicad-library/blob/master/library/datasheet/F-6188_BK8000L/bins/firmware_serial.bin
is too large for the FT25H04 chip.
The following error message is shown: "Image size (524394 B) doesn't match the flash chip's size (524288 B)"

I then tried with this flash file:
https://github.com/tomaskovacik/kicad-library/blob/master/library/datasheet/F-6188_BK8000L/BK8000L.flash
I was able to flash this file to the chip as its size is 524288 B, but this doesn't seem to solve my serial comm issue.

What is the difference between F-6188_BK8000L/bins/firmware_serial.bin and /F-6188_BK8000L/BK8000L.flash?
Any idea how I should get the correct flash on my chip to activate the serial communication?

Thanks

Firmware configuration

I've written the firmware bin file to a BK8000L module to get AT commands working, and am finding that I'm getting a battery low warning on connection with an android device. This did not happen previously. Is there any reference of hex values to change for configuring these various features? As a battery warning message is not helpful on a non-battery powered device, such as in a car radio.

Flash the firmware to BK3254

I have a bk3254 and I want to flash this bluetooth module to custom sound effect , but I don't know how do It from BK3254 ToolKit, please help me. What I need to do to flash this?

Switching BT Profile / HFP as gateway

Hi Tomas,
there are a couple of BT profiles mentioned in the docu. Do you know how I can switch them via serial interface?
My solution should act as a HFP or HSP gateway (like a smartphone) rather then like a headset. Do you know if this is possible with the F6188?

Thanks
Marcus

so it's look like this is good jtag module for programing, so I get it:

upload/download custom firmware to BK3254

Hello, Tomas.
I've been experimenting with BK3254 Module and noticed "custom voicelines" tab in the toolkit. Is it really possible to upload custom event sounds to that module? Should I use jtag for it?

BK8000L flash chip

Hi, my module has a flash chip named "boyamicro 25q40astig". Is there any way to flash this one?
