This repo comprises the source code for domainregistrarfinder.com.

I wanted something more accessible than whois for finding domain registrars so I created a web interface for a simply defined Flask endpoint using python-whois.

Infrastructure

This site has the following infrastructure:

  • static site hosting on s3
  • docker container deployment to ECS
  • Application Load Balancer with ACM Cert
  • Routes defined in Route 53
  • HTTPS via CloudFront for s3

chore:bifurcate CI to FE and Backend

In order to allow deployments only when appropriate, and to speed up front end deployments in particular, the build script should only deploy when either in api or static. There should be separate build scripts for each. Use on: push: path:.
