M-x shell. Shell as a buffer. All movement commands are same as normal buffers. 'ls' output is not nicely formatted. 'clear' doesn't work.

M-x ansi-term. Like a real shell. Have to toggle modes for movement. C-c C-j makes C-p move up a line. C-c C-k makes C-p step back through the command history. 'ls' output is nice. 'clear' work.

Both great for copying/pasting emacs-style and being window managed emacs-style.

performance vs. overlay. why do the menus pop over the hotpads map currently?

Clojure contrib has been broken into submodules. Upgrade both to stay current and to avoid loading the entire contrib library if we don't need it.

Use leiningen (by writing a plugin, I assume) to run a local app engine dev server and for deploying. See the GAE demo projects for the available Ant tasks.

Currently, main.css is being requested every time while css/js from yahoo/google is only loaded the first time. I believe this is because I don't have any cache headers set.
