Loaded the code, run the code, wii remote connects, connect batteries, turn on ESC....press B + up...nothing happens. The ESC is not speaking to PI. I connected a Servo to see if there was a signal....nothing. Not sure why this is happening.

MAX = 9.7 # 10 is absolute max

Is there a reason why 10 is the absolute maximum speed? What happens if I increase this constant above 10? Where did this number come from?

Many of the links are not working, such as the Ebay and the enertion links. I would appreciate an update and any relevant information on parts that may change.

The esc has twice the required amps needed for the motor. Is that a little bit overkill?

Hi Tim, i followed your tutorial to build a electric skateboard but i have some problem with the program.
I'm a novice in programming
when i launch the piskate program, the message "no wiimote found" appears while the wiimote is connected with the raspbbery. i don't know where does the problem come from and i'm lost.
Do you know how to fix this problem ?

i think it come from the python version which is on 3.5.2

You're videos don't mention range and speed. Can you give general estimates and the amp hours your batteries have for that range?
