I've created an experimental app to simply implement the translation in Angular 2, through a injectable class. You can find it here.
I think it can be interesting for others because it shows the potential of hierarchical dependency injection.

I've created a fairly simple Angular 2 app here which is up to date with the API and illustrates a lot of the features that are built in Angular. Moreover, I've used Firebase to store data to illustrate how that would work.
