create a function to do this;

local ok, err = accessor:set("some.arbitrary.key", value)

probably to fail if intermediate tables do not exist?

Iterator over (multiple) arrays;

for key, value in accessor:iter("some.array[*].containing[*].key") do ... end

Set array values (most common case being; erasing values by setting to nil)

local ok, err = accessor:array_set("some.array[*].containing[*].key", value)
