What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Scan for a phone
2. Connect to a QC port
3. Send AT command (or given an unknown phone state on a phone that shares a 
single com port for qc/modem one could accidentally send the wrong type of 
command)

The port should timeout, but will instead hang requiring a force close

Hi, i have a Virgin Mobile HTC one V. 

I am trying to use the mobile with the Reliance CDMA india. 

I got the A Key from the provider and i inserted the A key using your tool and 
it went fine. 

My provider has given a HSD username and PWD for evdo parameters.

He asked me to create a NV Dump file and upload it. 

Do you have any idea as how to create a NV Dump file and upload it.?

I have noticed that I get errors when trying to write evdo settings.

Im not sure if this was reported but I do get errors.

I suspect this has to do with mip profiles and nv item 466 which might look

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Refresh the com ports 
2. select wrong com port
3. program stops running 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Program should output something along the lines error non usb/qc serial port

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
alpha version 2.7 and beta version 2. Windows 7 64 bit.

NV Dump file is very very easy and available for every field, like We program 
any NV item via CDMA Workshop QxDM QPST or DFS and then Get NV item Backup

We need to make a Procedure which can take its hex Value and process and send 
it to Terminal like

WriteNVItem_Dump(int nv_number,Byte nv_bytes[])

This can further easy eveolved to import DUMP file form CDMA Workshop and 
Enhance the ability of CDMA Dev Term

Are there any plan to add write ability for MEID? I recent rooting of my phone 
has resulted in a scambled MEID, and I'm looking for a way to restore it 
without paying more for software than the phone is worth...

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to open solution or .vbproj file
2. Solution will load, but project shows up as unloaded
3. Right clicking and selecting reload will show the files breifly then they 
will disappear 

What is the expected output? reloading should open the project

What do you see instead? the project fails to load

For now I recommend opening the project in SharpDevelop which seems to be able 
to load the project fine...

A bit of searching suggests that I am including functionality that is not 
supported in the express version of visual studio(but tbh I thought i could 
open/build fine in express after I had added that 
<EnableUnmanagedDebugging>false</EnableUnmanagedDebugging> so I am a bit 
confused by this...)

1. How could I use the RF Online, for example, as I can interpret the commands 
return DIAG_PILOT_SETS_F and DIAG_STATE_F

Serial Port API runs on the same thread as the UI.

For example, when reading NV item range on the old version to backup all NV 
items, the UI locks up until the process is finished.

A cancel function should also be implemented for anyone who wishes to cancel 
the ongoing operation.

The inbuild .NET SerialPort class provides functionality for events  and easily 
implement multithreadding.
