My Home Assistant configuration
I have set up browser mod on my HA running on a RPi 3B+.
I access my home assistant instance via duckdns.org
How can I set up the media_content_id as this attribute has an empty value:
volume_level: 1
is_volume_muted: false
media_content_id: ''
type: browser_mod
deviceID: Dell Chrome
supported_features: 21005
If I access my HA instance via nabu casa, from the same chrome browser, I have this media player and this one works fine:
volume_level: 0.52
is_volume_muted: false
media_content_id: >-

Hi! Winter is coming, it snowed last night and there is no snow background in the "mp4" files, any idea?
Best regards
Hello. been watching all the video guides for this and they all show it being installed using HACS. i have HACS installed and have used it for quite a few installs already. however when i go in i do not see "auto-entities" as a choice. am i missing something?
Since new beta of Core 2023.5.0b5 there is a fault in the log when accessing from Internet to HA:
Logger: frontend.js.latest.202304280
Source: components/system_log/__init__.py:257
First occurred: 21:00:15 (11 occurrences)
Last logged: 21:12:21

Plugins no longer installed through lovelace GUI
I'm not sure exactly when it changed, but at least with 0.94.1 the mount is:
/icons_directory:/usr/local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/hass_frontend/static/icons
I am using this via docker/docker-compose and can confirm it works.
Please can you add an option to hide the assist icon? Thank you.
HI
I am using the newest version of Hassio and configured my floorpan.
Everything was fine but not I only get a red background.
The configs are in all floors the same

Closing item. Issue was old fashioned user error.

I asked a stupid question. Editing because I figured it out. Sorry
Please update the documentation to reflect the new changes in HA - for example using "Settings" and "Dashboards"
Thank you!
That's the problem in a few words: Everything is working fine, when HA is used with Chrome browser.
My HA-Version: core-2021.12.8, supervisor-2021.12.2, Home Assistant OS 7.1
When using to Home Assistant Companion 2021.12 (2021.322) there is no error message, but it does not show time or date.
Any idea, what could be wrong? It's only with the clock card implementation.
All other HACS-integrations are working fine.
I hoped I would find your custom plug-in in HACS named "Lovelace-card-mod" but I'm not able to find it anywhere?
You did say initially that you recommend using HACS ? So, where in HACS is it?
"I recommend using HACS to install and keep track of plugins. If you do, steps two and three in the installation instructions below, and the updating procedure will be different."
->
"I recommend using HACS to install and keep track of plugins. If you do, skip steps two and three in the installation instructions below, and the updating procedure will be different."
We had a few people report an issue about a new feature we have where we are using some JS to trigger the more info pop-up.
The code we use in the android app to trigger the pop-up is here:
This is used in a few places so users can quickly get to their entity and also in Android Power Menu feature so users can quickly get to a light etc...
We came to find out that when a user just has card-mod installed and loaded as a lovelace resource the pop-up gets dismissed about a second or 2 later.
I am not sure if this is something that can be fixed by card-mod but wanted to open an issue to see if its something we can solve.
Hello, is it possible to make background animation in picture card? I would like to cut upper part of my png picture(to make it invisible) and to see animated weather behind it... I am trying but somehow when I add picture, part that should be invisible shows as black, and no animation can be seen...
Many sources link back to this doc and it is horribly outdated now with recent updates to HA.
Please update.
Good evening. I've had this error for a while now and just haven't had a chance to bother with it. As stated in the title, I'm getting an error in cards to the tune of Custom element not found: auto-entities
. The logs show the error message(s) below. I'm not sure how to remedy. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Thomas, I really appreciate everything you do regarding Home Assistant. Here's a small suggestion for your Misc tricks page:
Under Node anchors you have:
# When you write:
key: &anchor value
That threw me for a bit, because it doesn't tell me WHY. Perhaps you could change it to:
# To define an anchor:
key: &anchor value
Same thing with Merge keys: # To define a key
Cheers, Richard
