I have restarted the system and reflashed the web UI couple of times. Also, re-instead the whole plugin, it did not work.

How to add media_content_id to the media_player entity

I have set up browser mod on my HA running on a RPi 3B+.
I access my home assistant instance via duckdns.org
How can I set up the media_content_id as this attribute has an empty value:

volume_level: 1
is_volume_muted: false
media_content_id: ''
type: browser_mod
deviceID: Dell Chrome
supported_features: 21005

If I access my HA instance via nabu casa, from the same chrome browser, I have this media player and this one works fine:

volume_level: 0.52
is_volume_muted: false
media_content_id: >-

Documentation for installation needs updating

The documentation appears to be out of date. Example: adding "resources" is no longer a tab, its found under the ellipses
image

and once at the adding resource screen, it no longer shows URLs by default, you have to click "add a resource" on the bottom right.

Wiki Favicon Docker Update

I'm not sure exactly when it changed, but at least with 0.94.1 the mount is:

/icons_directory:/usr/local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/hass_frontend/static/icons

I am using this via docker/docker-compose and can confirm it works.

Assist icon

Please can you add an option to hide the assist icon? Thank you.

No color icons based on states

Thanks for a great component!

Some (not all) of my items does not change color based on state. It's working in other (non folding) cards

Font-Size without Wrapping = Too Large

Thanks for making this card! Just deployed and see the result below.

What is the easiest way for me to reduce the font size and/or enable text wrapping?

Card configuration change

Clock Card working fine when HA used with browser, but not with HA app (HA-companion 2021.12)

That's the problem in a few words: Everything is working fine, when HA is used with Chrome browser.
My HA-Version: core-2021.12.8, supervisor-2021.12.2, Home Assistant OS 7.1

When using to Home Assistant Companion 2021.12 (2021.322) there is no error message, but it does not show time or date.

Any idea, what could be wrong? It's only with the clock card implementation.
All other HACS-integrations are working fine.

Where in HACS ?

I hoped I would find your custom plug-in in HACS named "Lovelace-card-mod" but I'm not able to find it anywhere?
You did say initially that you recommend using HACS ? So, where in HACS is it?

Update wiki page regarding HACS

"I recommend using HACS to install and keep track of plugins. If you do, steps two and three in the installation instructions below, and the updating procedure will be different."

Issues with Android app more info pop-up feature

We had a few people report an issue about a new feature we have where we are using some JS to trigger the more info pop-up.

The code we use in the android app to trigger the pop-up is here:

https://github.com/home-assistant/android/blob/master/app/src/main/java/io/homeassistant/companion/android/webview/WebViewActivity.kt#L219

This is used in a few places so users can quickly get to their entity and also in Android Power Menu feature so users can quickly get to a light etc...

We came to find out that when a user just has card-mod installed and loaded as a lovelace resource the pop-up gets dismissed about a second or 2 later.

I am not sure if this is something that can be fixed by card-mod but wanted to open an issue to see if its something we can solve.

Background animation in picture card

Hello, is it possible to make background animation in picture card? I would like to cut upper part of my png picture(to make it invisible) and to see animated weather behind it... I am trying but somehow when I add picture, part that should be invisible shows as black, and no animation can be seen...

Outdated docs

Many sources link back to this doc and it is horribly outdated now with recent updates to HA.

Please update.

Custom element not found: auto-entities

Good evening. I've had this error for a while now and just haven't had a chance to bother with it. As stated in the title, I'm getting an error in cards to the tune of Custom element not found: auto-entities. The logs show the error message(s) below. I'm not sure how to remedy. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Documentation suggestion

Thomas, I really appreciate everything you do regarding Home Assistant. Here's a small suggestion for your Misc tricks page:

Under Node anchors you have:

# When you write:
key: &anchor value

That threw me for a bit, because it doesn't tell me WHY. Perhaps you could change it to:

# To define an anchor:
key: &anchor value

Same thing with Merge keys: # To define a key

Cheers, Richard
