Explanatory text UI

  • create Text box
  • write tooltips for each level
  • show them on reaching checkpoints

Clean up player death

On player death, a bunch of exceptions are thrown because scripts need the player

Fixes

  • Escape should not quit application - instead main Menu/Pause Screen
  • endscene return to main menu button not working
  • prefabs with disabled meshrenderers show these renderers (checkpoints/Funnels)
  • checkpoints are visible and blocks view onto ball
  • Kill/Reset on key press
  • Remove Mouse Cursor
  • Glasplate from 3rd level blocks paths on lvl 2
  • cannonballs more damage
  • lvl 1 walls that move down can be seen later, make invisible
  • lvl 4 second funnel can be dodged
  • lvl 5 ghost follows back onto level 4
  • wall of lvl 3 disappears totally when on lvl 4 and following
  • checkpoints should be one-time use only

enemies/objects

  • holes
  • bouncy walls
  • pushing enemies
  • death on contact
  • black hole
  • Turbine
  • laser on/off

Powerups and Collectibles

  • Coins
  • Shrinking / Growing potion
  • speed up / slow down

These objects should be realized through simple triggers and tag-logic.
