As soon as I enter a component with snEllipsis the application freezes.
The Chrome task manager CPU raises over 130.

Env:

• Asus ROG 2015 (i7 6700 HQ + GTX960M + 16GB RAM DDR4)
• Chrome 65.0.3325.181 x64

Hello, I tried to use this package, and it did not produce any effect on my app. Below there is a demo that I tried to work with but with no success. Not sure if v8 would play a role on this library not working

While running on the server during universal rendering the directive raises the following error:

ERROR TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined
    at EllipsisDirective.clipText

The directive should probably be a noop on the server, and only truncate text on the client.

Installed latest NPM package (1.1.2) into our Angular 4 CLI project. When building, we get the following error:

ERROR in Error: Metadata version mismatch for module node_modules/@thisissoon/angular-ellipsis/angular-ellipsis.d.ts, found version 4, expected 3

The angular-ellipsis.metadata.json file does indeed contain version 4.

Could you please fix this?
