Without the fix the game starts with no problems.
P.S.: Shadowbuffer forcing option in Splinter Cell 1 is deprecated too (see your other fix), 'cause no today GPU with today drivers can handle the old technique used in Splinter Cell 1. Best solution is forcing PROJECTOR MODE, waiting for a fix like the Pandora Tomorrow's one linked before.
The menu is just tiny rectangle in top left corner which isn't really ideal. It'd be ideal to make the fix work only ingame.
Also the game crashes on exit when using your fix. Sometimes you need to use task manager and kill the process.
BTW the fixed London 69/61 works with your fix too so good job.
Then make it configurable in .ini like others.
Because it's big and blurry.
The scope displays incorrect skybox FoV and adjusting scope zoom on it zooms in/out skybox ie.moon in both cases.
The widescreen fix for THPS4 crashs on the french version (black screen and exit).
The US version works very well of course.

'Widescreen HUD' is selectable in the game's mod launcher. Does this mean that only the HUD is stretched if I decide to use another mod instead?

I have GTA VC Im not sure which version it is but I know it is 3.1MB. Anyways I installed the Widescreen Fix by placing it in my root file however nothing happened and my FOV is still the same. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.
Any hope to see the HUD fix in the next months/years? Resolution Fix rocks! ๐

I hope you remember this PS2-to-PC port.....cause - like every PS2 brutal port - it doesn't support resolutions other than 4:3 ones.....and it's just a pity cause the game is actually very gameplay wise: it's a hidden gem, buried behind the worst port ever :D
So.....here's the request(s) :v
*Enable 16:9 resolutions (hacking the engine - yes it's an early version of Crystal Dymanic Engine!) and maybe the relative correct FOV and other
*enable proper HUD scaling
*texture override possibility for community texture pack
All the Deus Ex fans will rejoice if you do your magic with PS and will be eternally thankful to you !

I've only noticed this problem in GTAVC, GTAIII is free of this problem. I have not tested for it in GTASA.

Makes GTA2 compatible on modern Windows and stuff, but uses D3D rather than DDraw which your WS fix is hooking into.

Hi, i have problem with shadows for font, sometimes they are bigger, sometimes they are smaller. Option in ini doesn't do anything.

Game only supports 4:3, and just stretches the image if you go wider. So it could use a widescreen fix.

In widescreen_fix.ini there's only line "COMICS_MODE = 0". Do I have to create a command for changing the FOV?

This fix also mostly works for surround resolutions. I'm playing at 6048x1080 and the crosshair is located much farther to the right than normal, the hitpoint is where the crosshair should be. I have not tested it with San Andreas.

I edited all the values of the file ("nfsmw_res") , but I can't get it to fit the screen. Even I slowed the resolution of my monitor. It works, but you did the previous update of the mod.
This makes me think that it works above 1080* resolution, mine is 1440x900. Thank you, I hope it has repair.
With Max Payne 2 Steam version, the comics are looking too narrow. Someone had mentioned this a while back also.
Would it be possible to add the IVRadarScaling option to the GTA: San Andreas fix like in the Vice City and GTA 3 fixes?

I'm experiencing many crashes before cutscenes and loading saves, using 1.4 version with correct crack. Also, Picture in Picture is broken, "video" goes out of bounds. Also, would it be possible to make HUD like the Xbox version? Thanks man, never would have thought that someone would truly try to fix these old awesome games! Keep up.
After GET READY it just crashes.
Is it possible to add a nice function to this "patch"?
When you ALT+TAB GTA:SA the window always get minimized, "SA Window" (http://www.gtagarage...how.php?id=4404) prevents the game from minimizing when it's run as "Windowed" but it doesn't prevents the game from pausing/freezing when the window is not on "focus".
Is there any flag in the RenderWare engine to set the game to be always active?
So for example... You can have the game running under another monitor and browsing the internet on another. (Useful for SA-MP)

I couldn't get the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Widescreen Fix to work.
This is what I did so far:

Thank you for this Fix, but it only works with US version. The EU version has other EXE file (and other patch 1.2).
When viewing the map from the menu, if the IVRadarScaling option is enabled, the player position ('You are here') marker becomes huge and slightly inaccurate.
This is just a small issue that I'd consider low priority, but it'd be cool.
2013 is W8 only I think and 2012 stuff usually works in 2013 so just 2012 would be good enough.
Oh right I mean the old stuff so you don't have to upgrade all of them in VS manually.

I found my issue, and fixed it. Sorry for harassment.
Apparently they are broken. I completely forgot they exist. Courtesy of Wesser's WS fix I assume.
This is still happening and the culprit is the Wesser's WS fix. If you have some idea how to fix it I'm willing to test anything.
