math's Issues

Could the abs PR be merged?

Iโ€™m using this nifty library (and colors) to do some color blending in the UI for my integration environment for DJ performances, Beat Link Trigger. At startup, a whole bunch of warnings are generated because of the shadowing of abs:

Warning: protocol #'thi.ng.math.core/IMathOps is overwriting function abs
WARNING: abs already refers to: #'clojure.core/abs in namespace: thi.ng.math.core, being replaced by: #'thi.ng.math.core/abs
WARNING: parse-long already refers to: #'clojure.core/parse-long in namespace: thi.ng.strf.core, being replaced by: #'thi.ng.strf.core/parse-long
WARNING: parse-double already refers to: #'clojure.core/parse-double in namespace: thi.ng.strf.core, being replaced by: #'thi.ng.strf.core/parse-double
WARNING: parse-boolean already refers to: #'clojure.core/parse-boolean in namespace: thi.ng.strf.core, being replaced by: #'thi.ng.strf.core/parse-boolean

This has not been that significant an issue since most of my users run the program using the macOS and Windows launchers, so these warnings are buried in a log file. But I am starting to get some people who are using it from the command line on other operating systems, and these become much more intrusive and drown out my own errors and messages in that context. I was going to come here to suggest the use of refer-clojure to solve this, but I see someone has already submitted a pull request to do so. Can that be merged, or is there some problem holding up that task?
