Bloat Contain content that might not be desirable and cant be turned off via configs, commands, or other methods.
Buggy Mod is buggy.
Configuration Needed Mod needs to be configured to act at its best.
Corruption Mod has a chance to corrupt save files.

Level Meaning
1 Low chance to affect user
2 Low to medium chance to affect user
3 Medium chance to affect user
4 Medium to high chance to affect user
5 High chance to affect user
6 Very high chance to affect user
7 Will affect user
? Level of severity is unknown

Extra Information

You might find some superscripted numbers around the repository. These are used to tell extra information about the mods that labels and severity levels do not apply to.

¹ The mod should work if Mixin-0-7-0-8-Compatibility is applied

² Cull Particles isn't needed anymore in newer Forge versions, as it was implemented in Forge

³ Do not blame me if you didn't read this notice. If you try to load an older world in a newer instance of the game, and you have one of these mods installed, bad things will happen, make sure to uninstall the mod first

⁴ Some of the mods that have Sodium as an incompatibility, might work if you use Indium

⁵ AI Improvements newer versions (1.14+) don't have as much impact as the older versions have, since in newer versions of Minecraft, a lot of fixes to the AI are implemented ([Sources: Curseforge page FAQ, Dev])

⁶ Halogen has issues with Forge's ExplosionEvent, see sodium-forge#33

⁷ These mods also work on 1.17.x , despite having only 1.16 and 1.18 releases in curseforge, no workarounds needed. Install them like any other mods and your fabric loader won't complain about missing dependencies

⁸ Some of the mods that have Magnesium/Rubidium as an incompatibility, might work if you use Calcium

What is your reasoning for including this mod?

dynamic fps is one of the most popular & downloaded optimisation mods, it reduces CPU and GPU load when minecraft is unfocused or in the background/minimised.
this is crucial to enable multitasking, multi-instancing, and also a nice quality of life addition to reduce unnecessary load/noise/heat/energy consumption.

dynamic fps also fixes a bug in minecraft that causes increased load in the background

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

recent versions of this mod are marked 1.18.1 or 1.17.1 but they should work with 1.16.2+ too, and this mod doesn't have any minecraft dependency (i.e should be loadable on 1.15 but not guaranteed to work)

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/farsight

What is your reasoning for including this mod?

I post it at here is because this client side mod can let you see any further distance without get limited by any server. It would pretty useful for who wants to see further chunk distances but you can't because of the server limited it..

How It works is that if the server render distance is like 8, your own game will save what those chunks looked like when you went near them and use that data to draw them from further distances. So its all visual only but it doesn' matter at all.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

TAKE NOTE:

It would be useless or not working in singleplayer, but in the opposite is that it would pretty effective on server. And also this mod is client side so that you can use any server you wanted. It also don't decrease your FPS/performance!
BTW it compaitable with Forge/Fabric version(1.16.5 ->1.18).And it also compaitable with other CaffeineMC's mod like Sodium.

Issue with notation of C2me 1.18

It is not at corruption level. lol. I've ran it with my modpack of 250+ mods for 5 months, and experimental builds at that, and no save file was ever corrupted.

[Correction] Clumps seems to be server side nowadays

What is your reasoning for including this mod?

Versions past 1.17 are now only needed on the server instead of the client.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

Oh and also. You should have a correction form for situations like this. So people arent forced to use another form not made for corrections.

Well i noticed that they werent a lot of performance mods for fabric 1.15 so i thought id include this as it isnt on there.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

This is a port of an older 1.16.x version of sodium for 1.15, primarily so speedrunners of version 1.15 had a performance mod that wasnt optifine.

Blanket [Addition]

Checklist

[Addition] 1.12.2 燐/Hesperus phosphor fork

Checklist

  • I've checked that my mod suggestion hasn't already been added to one of the lists.
  • I've checked the latest issues to make sure that this mod hasn't already been suggested.

What is your mod's name?

燐/Hesperus

What is your mod's main version?

1.12.X

Input a link to your suggested mod. Make sure it isn't hosted on a site listed on StopModReposts.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/hesperus

What is your reasoning for including this mod?

Hesperus is a continuation of the abandoned Phosphor Forge Edition, aiming to fix crashes and mod conflicts.

In addition to the original mod's improvement and optimization to the vanilla lighting system, this fork had:

Fixed a crash with Fluidlogged API
Fixed a rare crash with Simple Text Overlay
Probably fixed a strange conflict with Witchery: Resurrected

This mod was based on embeddedt's fork of phosphor, so it has some degree of compatibility to Dynamic Lighting, but the performance may be poor.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

Other (Fabric)

Input a link to your suggested mod. Make sure it isn't hosted on a site listed on StopModReposts.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/selective-entity-removal-fabric

What is your reasoning for including this mod?

Allows the user to modify the distance at which each entity renders, helpful for situations such as mob switches, large amounts of entities. As of 1.19 Selective Entity Removal supports other modded entities, however versions 1.18 and below only support vanilla.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

Starlight x Create not for 1.18?

Added in 9ab6f4c, the fact its in performance118.md, the description given, and the summary if you view it from the author's projects list all suggest that it supports 1.18:
image

However, if you follow the link 1.18 isn't mentioned anywhere in the description or page, and both files (v1.1, v1.2) are marked as only supporting 1.16.

Are the versions mislabeled and it does support 1.18, or is it mislabeled as supporting 1.18 when it doesn't?

In vanilla, the fire overlay is displayed even when the player has fire resistance or is in creative mode. This mod fixes that and hides the fire overlay when necessary.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

If this mod is added, it should be added to the Bug Fixes category.

[Addition] to JavaArgumentsOptimization

This might be a better alternative to Aikars's Flags. In my case this performs better than Aikar's Flags on my system but additional testing is needed to confirm if it is better in all situations.

-Xms4G -Xmx4G -XX:+UseShenandoahGC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=50 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=80 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=20 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1

I am no expert in Java & have no idea if all the flags used even apply to Shenandoah. Feel free to correct any mistakes & offer improvements.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

Replaces and improves upon all features of VanillaFix and Texfix so those 2 mods are inherently incompatible

[Correction] dashLoader is compatible with Enhanced block entities

EBE and dashLoader, and cull leaves and moreCulling

What section(s) of the list is this correction for?

Preformance

What version(s) dose this correction apply to?

1.18.X (Fabric)

What needs correcting?

Enhanced block entities is compatible with dashLoader on 1.18.2 and 1.19 so they should be removed from the known incompatibilities, and moreCulling has leaf culling build in.

Input a link(s) which can be used to verify the correction.

https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/89302916/186462663-116d6b46-9b1c-49c9-aaa9-24eae72733f1.png

https://github.com/Loli-Server/LoliServer

Encountered far less issues with this than mohist, arclight, etc

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the software.

Is a followup software of catserver on 1.12.2

[Addition] FastWorkbench

Mod name: FastWorkbench

Mod version: forge 1.16 4.6.1

Mod Links: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fastworkbench

The reasoning for Inclusion: While fastworkbench minus replacement is already on the list, this one should theoretically be faster because it removes the recipe book. Afaik the minus replacement version was made only for mod compatability so if you are playing on something lightly modded and need more fps the normal one should theoretically be better. There should be no case In which fastfurnace is better than fast furnace minus replacement though so just fastworkbench.

This is for 1.19.X Forge and Fabric.

This would be considered a bug fix.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

1.18.X (Fabric)

Input a link to your suggested mod. Make sure it isn't hosted on a site listed on StopModReposts.

https://www.modrinth.com/mod/chat-lag-fix

What is your reasoning for including this mod?

According to the modrinth page:

When receiving a chat message, Minecraft sends a HTTP request in the render thread to check your player block list. The current frame does not finish rendering until this request has finished, causing a lag spike

This mod fixes that by not sending that HTTP request. Due to this, blocking won't work, yet chat messages should result in less lag.

(OPTIONAL) Give some extra information about the mod.

An alternative implementation is available at https://github.com/KosmX/non-blocking_chat.
This implementation is slightly slower, but the blocking functionality is retained.

[Addition] KoTRT Core

Reasoning for Inclusion:

PS: Seeing as this is the first issue in the repository, I've tried to make a good format for further mod suggestions. If issues isn't the right place to suggest mods, this should probably be deleted.
Edit: apparently pull requests count as issues to github, so this is the 5th issue. oops.
