science-spot-it's Issues

Incomplete license info for pictures...

Hello,
I got to this repository through you Reddit post. What a great project! And I love your blog writing style. :) Thank you for sharing all this!

One quick thing: I noticed in your blog that you specifically searched for science-related images that are licensed allowing modification but have to be for non-commercial use. This implies that those images are licensed under either the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial or Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike licenses. This implies two possible issues:

(1) You need to provide full Attribution as defined by the license, which reads: "You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use." I see that you have provided credit for some of the images, but no information and links on exactly which license they were released under (i.e. which one of the above two licenses), and if you made any changes to them.

(2) If the license is of the "ShareAlike" variety, then the licenses also states: "If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original." This means that if you used anything under a license with the ShareAlike clause, then this science Spot-It game must be released under that license as well, instead of the MIT license.

I apologise in advance in case this comes across as pedantic. But I truly believe it is important to understand the nuances of the different Creative Commons licenses (there are many of them, not just one! Look here, they all have different terms and conditions.). It is with such understanding that we can share and build on each others' works more effectively.
