obsidian-note-archiver's Issues

Archive by note creation date

Thanks for this plugin! Just a quick thought: it would be great if the grouping feature (filing the archived files based on the year and month the file was archived) could instead be done by the note creation date, instead of the date you actually archived it.

Would that be possible to add?

Archive under heading / select to archive

Hello! I have an idea to further expand the functionality of the plugin. Possibility to partially archive (and/or merge) notes like in Archiver plugin. If you could archive voluntarily selected text area or only heading that could be archived until the next heading. Or even fully merge remaining note file with existed archive file

Example of actual note:

Part of text that could be selected and archived. This sentence will not be archived

## Archive info
Some outdated info block that could be archived till the next heading

> some quote

[example](example.com)

- bullet
- list

- [ ] even
- [x] checkboxes

## Next heading
Actual info that shouldn't be archived

Archived note:

๐Ÿ”“ 2024-01-04
Part of text that could be selected and archived.

## Archive info ๐Ÿ”“ 2024-01-05
Some outdated info block that could be archived till the next heading

> some quote

[example](example.com)

- bullet
- list

- [ ] even
- [x] checkboxes

Actual note after archivation:

This sentence will not be archived

## Next heading
Actual info that shouldn't be archived

Allow config option of turning off copying folder path when archiving

Currently, if you archive a file that is within a folder, then the plugin automatically recreates that folder in the archive folder, including all of the folders in the path from the file to the top of the file tree.

Example:
Original file location: /vault/bullet-journal/daily/file.md
File location after archive with group by year turned on: /vault/archive/2023/bullet-journal/daily/file.md

Originally, my archive folder was in /bullet-journal, which led the path to be the even more ridiculous: /vault/bullet-journal/archive/2023/bullet-journal/daily/file.md.

I want to be able to turn off the default of copying folders in the original file path, which would make the behavior instead be: /vault/archive/2023/file.md when archiving.
