xf2-userprofilenotes's Issues

Feature Request: User Note Notifications for Staff

  1. Provide a clear description of what feature you would like to see.
    • Notifications for when a user note is added to a member. All staff who can view notes should be able to enable notifications for this. Notification could look something like: "Imperial added a user note to John", with both the usernames being links to their respective profiles.
  2. Does your suggestion base on an existing feature? Describe how it would be reasonably extended.
    • Based on the add user note feature, a new notification trigger would need to be added for this functionality to work.
  3. Does your suggestion describe a new feature? Describe possible interaction scenarios for staff members as well as users.
    • New feature that extends upon adding a user note. Would also need new corresponding user settings. Enables staff teams to keep in sync about user notes in the community by staff. By staff, I mean anyone with the view user notes permission.

Thanks for making this addon!

Feature Request: Upload/Attach Images & Files to User Notes

  1. Provide a clear description of what feature you would like to see.
    • Image & file attachments in the rich text editor. Currently, the editor only allows for links to images to be embedded. Instead, like the profile posts, should be able to paste an image into the text editor & have it be embedded as an attachment. Also, ideally should support other files.
  2. Does your suggestion base on an existing feature? Describe how it would be reasonably extended.
    • Adds onto the existing rich text editor on the user notes page.
  3. Does your suggestion describe a new feature? Describe possible interaction scenarios for staff members as well as users.
    • Extends upon rich text editor used for adding a user note. Otherwise, staff teams have to upload images/files to another provider.
