When running locally, everything works fine but on gh-pages the trailing slashes in _data/settings.yml appear to break the routing so that while the framework of the page loads it displays a 404 (if the trailing slashes are removed, it works).

The about page, blog page and portfolio page arentt responsive on Samsung Galaxy M51 (Samsung Galaxy S8+/S9).

Great template and is mostly responsive to browser size. However, the images in the hero area aren't responsive to the browser size and gets a bit cluttered when viewing on mobile.

Some assets are not loaded when deployed to Github pages. When viewed to browser, the asset location is not present

According to the comments I modified the baseurl, but can't link to about ,blog pages.
_data/settings.yml:How to bind the baseurl or url?

The google analytics functionality does not call the UA tag correctly.

In head.html the code is:

when it should be:
<!-- google analytics -->
{% if site.data.settings.google-analytics %}
{% include google-analytics.html %}
{% endif %}

Similarly, in google-analytics.html the function should call site.data.settings.google-analytics and not site.google-analytics

In the _config.yml file, I add any plugins to the plugins entry.
plugins:

• jekyll-spaceship
• jekyll-mathjax
• jekyll-sitemap

and I also add "mathjax: true" in post.html.
The broken formulas continued and didn't help at all. Is there any way to get latex support?

Hi how are you? I am a beginner to web development. I loved your design. I decided to use it for my site. Now i have a question, how can i change the background from color to image. I understand you decided to use purple. I want to use an image instead. Something that can work even on a mobile phone. Also another question. On mobile can i have 2 skills column instead of 1? Attached find my attempt to add, an image as a background image which failed terribly (on the desktop it seems to work but on mobilel not so much). If the experience icon (icon-1.png etc) images are replaced with a different image, they do not appear in the live site, but do appear in the localhost.

I get this error after building with some new CSS changes. I think its from _variables.scss but for the life of me can't figure out what. I have even reverted back to original versions, and re-made my changes, with no luck.

Locally, sometimes I'll stop the jekyll build and build again, or refresh then page in my browser, and the error will disappear. It's quite odd.
