wit's Issues

doesn't work with patch 1.4 anymore

Unfortunately the mod doesn't work with patch 1.4.x anymore. The window doesn't appear, and clicking the "reset window" button in UMM leads to a NullReferenceException.

Feedback

First off, THIS IS AMAZING AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!

Some ideas for feedback:

  1. Add a hotkey to minimize/mazimize the quick-key window. I recommend 'z' as it isn't used but it right next to all the other buttons we use.
  2. The 'cantrips' section keeps expanding even after I've minimized everything. Once the settings menu is up, can we have "minimize x" section where we can select things we want minimized by default (such as cantrips).

I'm sure I'll have more, but thank you for this mod!!

Mouse/Window Desync & Moving the UI off screen.

When dragging the window (Expanded or minimized) there is some sort of "acceleration" where the window does not move 1:1 with the mouse, this also leads to you being able to move the UI off-screen thus rendering it unusable

attachment is a video quickly demonstrating.

QuickcastBug.mp4

.

Game hangs if ToyBox "refill consumables in belt slots" option is on & user tries to consume via QuickCast

Versions used: WotR 1.1.4i, QuickCast 0.1.7beta, ToyBox 1.4.13

If you have both ToyBox & QuickCast installed, having TobyBox's option "refill consumables in belt slots if in inventory" enabled is really bad. As soon as you click on any one-time consumable in QuickCast (potions, scrolls…), the game hangs completely. No interaction possible anymore. You have to kill the process. No information is logged to GameLog.txt or GameLogFull.txt.

My guess is that having QuickCast move the object to the belt slot & trying to consume it somehow goes into an endless loop with ToyBox trying to re-fill that belt slot & both mods using the same consumables instance over and over again. But that's just guesswork.

I'm perfectly fine with this not getting fixed on QuickCast's end. However, this took me a couple of hours to figure out by disabling/re-enabling mods & trying several different options. If you don't want to or cannot fix it, maybe you can add another warning in the readme section of the mod so that others won't have as hard a time as me figuring it out.

Thanks!

Default Exception Log Spam

Theres an issue causing the following error to be spammed in GameLog.txt tens of thousands of times an hour. My log file after a two hour session is more than 200 MBs. The error doesn't seem to occur very often if at all when alone in town. Using the remote unity console I noticed that the error is spammed when selecting an individual character while in a party as well as when loading into a crusade tactical battle. I couldn't keep the console open to see much else as the console app freezes and locks the games input system up while trying to catch up with the error spam.

Arcanist Spellbook - Spell Knowns

I managed to get rid of my old issue... [for those who are curious: Which was basically happened because of me, apperently i was experimenting with Scroll Specialization feature from Scroll Savant on Arcanist, and forgot to remove, it was fucking everything up.]

whowever, prepared spell issue continues... specially with abilities from tabletop tweaks such as quick study or arcanist's cap ability Magic Supremecy thing, you're technically end up able to cast any spell you know (but not prepared) by spending reservoire points... This seems to be causing a weird bug where i see every single spell I know on the list, but i can't cast them obviously... They just basically clutter the screen.

i only prepared burning hands from level 1 for example...
