The same email addresses with and without dots are outputted for gmail.

For example, searching for paul schreiber --domain gmail.com turns up both paulschreiber@ and paul.schreiber@, which are the same.

Oddly, they both have results, even though the latter is synthetic and not used to register anywhere.

Any relation with findanyemail.net?

I have been using this gem for a couple months. The day before yesterday it just stop working.
Here it's the error:
`rescue in request': SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed (HTTPI::SSLError)´

I guess that Rapportive URL changed because it looks like this one('https://rapportive.com/login_status?user_email=' + email) is not working anymore.

Could this be a Ruby gem rather than having to download the source and go to the path it would be nice to be able to use the command globally.

I use it quite a bit and it is awesome thank you for creating it!

After trying twice without a valid response, the email is skipped because of the way the exp_backoff method is implemented. Possible solution could be to cross reference email with its corresponding gravatar. If there is a gravatar, then it is that much more likely to be a valid email.

If you run the script too often, then Rapportive's API would give you an 429 error. This results in some valid results being left out. I have bypassed the error, but I would want to know if there is a way to fix.

The link to your blog post in the Readme doesn't exist.

When a valid email is processed, the information would output. We could set an option to only output valid emails that have the same first and last name as the inputted arguments.

--quiet may be a good option name?
