our-first-website's Issues

title text

Corey pointed out that the existing title text isn't sufficiently descriptive (and he's absolutely right in the context of search results, I feel). What should it read?

For reference, it used to read:

test double - a software studio in Columbus, Ohio

And now it reads:

test double. nice code.

Brainstorm!

SEO: schema.org

Corey suggested checking out schema.org markup considerations

mobile devices

Right now the site is at agent default zoom for iOS/mobile devices, which means that the whole page is rendered and then downscaled.

This is, on one hand, cute because it shows the whole "print preview" motif at a glance. It also saves us from having to redesign the very paragraph-ey contact form to flow better with a more mobile-y limited logical pixel size.

On the other hand, it's a bit of a pain visually because we're at the mercy of the downscaling. For instance on an iPhone 5, the center of the page looks like the vertical margins are way off, until you realize that it's because the horizontal dotted line is not visible.
