wq-dash's Issues

April updates

  • Improve secchi plot to show censored/on the bottom observations

Light attenuation calculation

Suggest putting the equation(s) (or references to same) for calculating light attenuation somewhere in the methods section.

updates for feb

  • remove sliders (but keep in back pocket)
  • use reactable for matrix and include popup or some selection for what colors mean
  • add overview tab
  • modify segment plots to include landscape segment matrices with separate category outcomes for chl and la
  • site selection on map to show individual time series
  • add map disclaimer that targets are designed to apply to segments and not stations
  • link stations to cell counts using data from epc ftp, but this is long-term goal

MB meeting updates

  • incorporate flow somehow as additional context to bloom formation
  • download data tab
  • add data attribution for EPC
  • add animation date slider for maps

Sync Site Trends with EPCHC Currents

Sync up site trend plots with current year data from EPCHC and hard-code the attainment/annual/seasonal trend plots to show annual to the previous year.

Chlorophyll-a Time Series & Spatial Maps Management Target vs. Regulatory Threshold Distinction

For chlorophyll-a, there's particular distinction between the management 'Target' levels (i.e. TBEP identified desirable levels) and the regulatory 'Threshold' levels (i.e. FDEP-adopted values for the purposes of assessing impairment for the TB bay segments.) The FDEP regulatory thresholds equate to the target level + 2 S.E. (i.e. the upper reference line for chl-a), and not attaining the thresholds for 2 concurrent years has direct ramifications for permitted entities represented in the TBNMC. There's a history to this that goes beyond the 2000 document that discusses the development of these various cut-points.
